Apps we use ourselves.
Knieses is the app studio of Swen and Leon Knies, father and son from Switzerland. We build for iPhone and Mac.
Our apps
Every app has one job and its own colour.
Every app. One subscription.
With Knieses Workshop you get every app we make in full, on Mac, iPhone and Windows. Today that is Mink, Aevum and Vivere, and every new app joins automatically.

Leon Knies
Design and development
Leon designs the apps and builds them in Swift and SwiftUI.
Swen Knies
Strategy and quality
Swen tests every version in daily use and makes sure ideas become finished apps.
Knieses simply means «the Knies family». The two of us build our apps in Bellach, near Solothurn.

What we care about
Clarity.
Every app has one job. Whatever it does not need, we leave out.
Design.
Our apps should feel like they belong on iPhone and Mac.
Privacy.
An app only uses the data it needs for its job.
